I recently upgraded to Leopard from Panther and now I can't find tar. I was able to get a copy off my Panther backup, but I was wondering if there's a reason Leopard excluded it, or did something go wrong with my install?

Incidentally, I needed tar because the Archive Utility wasn't able to extract the files from a tar file I downloaded from http://sbooth.org/Max/. It gave me "Error 32 -- broken pipe".

You could always get yourself the free Stuffit Expander or any other third party archiving utility.
