Hi all,

Ive had Dreamweaver CS3 installed on my iMac but have had no end of trouble with it!

So, with that in mind, what are the alternatives that are free or have trial periods?

I tried rapidweaver but just cant get to grips with something unless I can edit pages like I can do in dreamweaver.

Are there any excellent WYSIWYG editors?

Regards

Why don't you try iWeb. It has less options on customizing, but it seems pretty straight forward. I've never used it myself, but you minds well try it since it probably came with your Mac anyway. I'm pretty sure you don't need to know how to code to make web pages with it.

I have used Kompozer before. It is a Dreamweaver look alike and seems to work well on a Mac.

I'd second KompoZer. It's based off of NVU which was pretty feature-rich.
