I have a Mac Pro Dual Quad-Core Intel with 2 gb of ram (two one gig sticks) I also have two 4 gb sticks from crucial to put it. Can I mix these different densities toegether? or will my 1 gb sticks become obsolete?

It will work. I have 4 1GB sticks, and 4 2bg sticks in my mac pro and they all work just fine.

oh and remember to match it.. what ever you put on the bottom card you have to put on the top... dont' fill the top first then put the last one on the bottom.. it won't work.
