I am trying to enable root user in Leopard. I am following the instructions here:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106290

But on step 3 it says click the lock in the directory utility window. I don't have a lock. I am attaching a picture so it makes more sense. Please let me know how to do this if you have leopard.

Thanks,

Jdgti

You are in the "Directory" application. You need to choose the "Directory Utility" application. Different Apps.
