Hi

I am wanting to upgrade the hard drive in my 2.4Ghz MBP, I've looked at a few guides and although it looks a little tricky I think its worth it as I want a 7200RPM drive.

I was just wondering what models are compatible?

Can I use any 2.5in 7200RPM SATA notebook drive? does the mac book support SATA II?

Does anyone know what make of drive will currently be in my Mac Book Pro? I have the 160Gb 5400RPM model that I bought in October 2007.

Thanks

Ricky55

PS
If anyone can recommend a decent 7200RPM drive all the better.

You still have a couple months left on your one year manufacturer's warranty. Upgrading the hard drive on a Macbook Pro WILL violate the warranty. Just something to think about.
