I accidently deleted the Addressbook.Framework folder from System/Library and now Safari refuses to open. Is there anyway i can extract it from the installer DVD? I have OS X 10.4.8.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum! You can do a custom re-install from your DVD. And in the remote possibility that other things might have been deleted you can do an Archive and Install which will keep all of your data and settings intact.

Boot from your System CD, choose your language and start the installation process. The default install is called Archive & Install, Preserve User Settings. That will simply reinstall the operating system with out damaging your user account. Works like a charm!
