Images as Background Problem

I took some photos vertically with my camera, so when i upload them i have to turn them once to the right on Preview. I then save my changes. Image is right side up.


Now here is the problem,

When i try to use the image as a desktop background the image goes back to its wrong way, even though it is saved as "right side up".

Any help?

Did you try using another application to rotate the images? I'll get back to you on this once I try it out on my Mac. (Currently on XP+PC. Thank for for Safari-Windows!)
