problem with optical drive door

Hi All,
I have a new MacPro and tthe optical drive door will not open. Did a search but found nothing.
Any ideas?

There should be a key on the keybaord that looks like a triagle with a line below it - that is the eject botton

Otherwise:

Navigate to HD > System > Library > Core Services > Menu Extras.
Double click on Eject.menu.

This will place an Eject icon on the Menubar.

Sorry but I do not have a >core Services. I am working in leopard.

The triangle does not work

I'm not running Leopard yet, so I can't look in my own system to see but according to this blog post, you should have a CoreServices folder with Menu Extras folder in it.

It seems that Leopard has kept the same hierarchy for CoreServices that is present in OS X 10.4.x Tiger, though.

When I get to library the next column this is what I see on reversed. Anyone have any ideas?

Looks like you're accessing the Applications folder, not the Library folder... Did you move folders around ?

This is the path that needs to be taken to find CoreServices...

Ok here is the real problem. When I am running Parallels and Windows XP is open and running in the background; I CANNOT open the tray. If I close windows XP, then I can open the tray with no problems. Hummmm
has anyone come across this before?
