Installing OS X from G5 onto iBook?

Hello,

I bought a Power Mac G5 recently and wondered if there is a way I can use the OS X Install disc that came with it to install 10.4 onto my old G3 ibook. When I try and install it, it just says "Cannot run on this computer".
Does anyone know of a way around?

Apple's EULA violation aside, there is no way around, you can't use that disk. It is hardware specific and will work only on the Power Mac. Either buy a full install OS X Tiger 10.4.x off of eBay or keep the OS version you already have on the iBook.
