I have a 9 month old 15" Powerbook G4 with OSX. Works fantastically.
But recently when I insert a data CD into the optical drive slot, the drive starts up but nothing mounts on the desktop. Checked preferences for Finder and for CD/DVD drive and I have them enabled properly to show the drive on the desktop when a new or data cd is inserted. Can't find any help topics that troubleshoot this at Apple.com or here on the Mac Forums.
Suggestions?
