Compatibility of Windows applications in Bootcamp

Hi folks,

I'm a complete noob in Mac.

Just want to find out of I use bootcamp and install windows XP in Mac Book, are the windows applications 100% compatible and stable in run with the system?

Bootcamp is an Installer, Partitions the Hard Drive, Gives you a Boot manager and the drivers for Windows. Otherwise once Windows is installed it works like on any other computer with the same hardware as in your Mac. So in other words, Windows will be Windows and work like on any PC.

If you bought say a Dell or HP with the same basic hardware as your Macbook, it will work just the same on the Mac as the PC.
