Macbook Pro or Macbook as a mobile Video DJ computer?

I was just told that at the parties I will be working at that the DJ would like me to do some video mixing as well. The program I might use would be something like CUE 5 Pro, where you can incorporate a live video feed. I would like to use the Canon HV20 HD camcorder connected to either a Macbook or Macbook Pro's firewire port. Now my question is while running the video mixing software,while mixing videos both from my computer and HD camcorder, while simultaneously displaying the video out onto a plasma tv @ 1920x1080p resolutions do you think the Macbook would be able to handle this. I am not sure if it would be more wise to get the Macbook Pro over the Macbook for this New situation. Once again what do you think?
