Safari won't open popup login box

There is a page I visit sometimes that has a login box that pops up (you know, the username/password box). It works in Camino. It works in Opera. Safari won't pop up the box. It just sits there and doesn't do anything.

Any idea why?

You have "Block Pop Ups" checked in Safari Preferences?

click on Safari on the menu bar and uncheck it.
