I am running Mac OS 10.4.1. If I highlight a word, then right-click, is the resulting menu supposed to give me the choice of searching in spotlight? Or, is this new functionality in Leopard?

If this is supposed to work in Tiger, what can I do to get this choice into the menu when I right click?

Thanks!

The option is there in 10.4.11, at least.

In Cocoa apps, it appears as "Search in Spotlight," usually near the top of the context menu. In Carbon apps, it appears as "Spotlight" near the bottom of the context menu.

Thanks. I verified I am running 10.4.11, but I get the choices in the attached screenshot only. Can you tell me how to add the search in spotlight option to this drop box?
