4th gen iPod restore

i have an ipod 4th gen and i want to restore it so i format it on a mac but it wants me to plug it in with wall socket..... i aint got one so now what the only icon comes on is the wall socket icon

anyone??

There is no easy way out of that, you have 3 choices

1) find a friend with a wall charger and borrow it,
2) go to an Apple store and use their wall charger, or
3) buy an iPod wall charger for yourself. It's not a bad thing to have. They come in handy when traveling.
