My battery life all of a sudden is only about 1hr. 30min. It used to be around 3 and 1/2 hours. I keep my laptop on all the time. Do you think I should try to let it rest more?

Maybe it's just time for a new battery? Also you never did tell us how old the battery is.

Health is 68% @ 167 cycles. My laptop is about 7 months old.

That's pretty poor. Mine's 82% health after 221 cycles (about 18 months).

Calibrate the battery - disconnect from the mains power and run the laptop until it goes to sleep after the , then keep it in sleep mode until the front light stops 'snoozing' (takes between 3 and 5 hours). battery is low warning. Then remove the battery, and hold down the power button for at least 5 seconds, replace the battery and recharge to a full charge - then check the health and capacity.

I did this about 2 months ago and went from 75% capacity to 84%. The battery should retain 80% of its charge up to 300 cycles.
