So, I have an Intel Core 2 Duo iMac, 2.16ghz, 2gb ram, 10.5.2 (upgrade), and an ATI Radeon with 256mb vram.

Will this be adequate to smoothly run games like COD4, Left 4 Dead (specs not yet avail.), and Grand Theft Auto IV through Bootcamp on Vista/XP?

I dont care for which flavor of Windows I would use, nor am I looking forward to installing Windows on my Mac, but pricing a game rig on Newegg made me ponder how else $900+ could be spent (apple notebook!:D )

Comments & suggestions greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

As long as your video card is decent, it shouldn't have any problems. I ran an old 3dMark demo with my onboard iMac video and got good results, with your card, you should be golden.

My Macbook with the integrated video card can run a lot of games, I play Tiger Woods 2005, Call of Duty 2, Age of Empires 3, Halo and Ghost Recon all the time. It taxes the computer and I have to turn the graphics down a little bit but the games are very playable. Your iMac should do fine.
