Powermac G4 into a Powermac G5/Mac Pro Case?

hi everyone, just wondering if it would be possible to improve the looks of a powermac g4 quicksilver by retrofitting a powermac g5/mac pro case?

Well you would certainly have enough room, but retrofitting it would be a labor of love. A quick glance at a G5 and Quicksilver in my office says nothing lines up.

Just an idea.

Try making a clear perspex or acrylic glass case for your Quicksilver and fitting it out.

Looks absolutely brilliant and a real knockout to your friends.

how would i go about making one?

is there anything cool i can do inside like liquid cooling?

Virtually anything can be done with enough time, money, skill and the appropriate tools. That being said... if you haven't got a bunch of experience modifying PCs, the chances of you being able to put a G4 in a G5 case or liquid cooling it, let alone building your own case from scratch, are not very high.

I'm not looking to discourage you at all, but outside of liquid cooling it, none of these projects are going to be quick, easy jobs.
