I have always been a puter "addict" , I guess you could call it. When I was a teen, I taught myself how to use pc,,now I can strip one, build one, whatever. Then I tackled the world of Linux and become very familiar with many distros of that. My most recent step was yesterday,,I purchased a used EMac, having never used one before. I paid 200 bucks for this,,still in the original box with all the restore discs and whatever else. The specs are

1GHz PowerPC G4
Memeory 512 MB
Bus 133 MHz
OS X Version 10.3

Can anyone tell me if I got a half decent deal on this or did I get robbed? Thanks in advance and am looking forward to the world of Mac.

Your Mac's Specs
17 inch 2 GHz C2D imac (5,1) with 3GB DDR2 RAM, X1600 (128MB memory) GPU - OSX 10.6.3
I think that was a good deal. But it'd max out the memory in it though. As said above. It's a nice stepping stone to what the world of apple has to offer. And then you can use it to see what your next mac will be.
