Garageband 08- Can't find (insert loop name here) File!

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook- Intel core 2 duo, 120GB, 1GB of RAM
Every time I start up garageband it doesn't open. Instead it goes though and lists all the apple loops that aren't there. It seems like all of them.

What is going on?
What can I do?

When you installed the iLife suite, did you ask the installer to install the GarageBand loops?
