Hi.
I use iMovie to make short stylized videos in my spare time. This means doing allot of transitions from clip to clip. Usually I have two projects open, one with all the DV footage I filmed on my DV Video Camera, and the other for my final movie. Using Command+T, I crop parts of the footage I want to use and copy them into the final project. However, iMovie copies the whole clip, not just the part I've cropped down. This takes a long time, and takes up allot of space when I'm copying different sections of the same clip.

How can I cut out a section of a clip without copying the entire clip?

Thanks allot
