On my home network, I have a NAS that has a built-in iTunes server feature. It basically shows up as a "Shared Library" in iTunes whenever it's running on a computer on my network. Anyway, the NAS contains both mine and my wife's music library. On occasion, I'd like to add a track by bringing it from the Shared Library to my machine's local library to sync with my iPod. It doesn't seem that I can do that with a simple drag and drop or cut and paste. Perhaps Apple intentionally locked this down in some way, but I was wondering if maybe there's a trick to it that I'm missing.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind - I should have searched better. I was correct in my assumption that Apple has intentionally locked this down.
