Hi

Im a 3rd year university student writing a dissertation. I have so many notes from books to type up and am a slow typist so was wondering if there was any cheap speech to text software around for mac leopard?

I found ilisten but as a student its a bit out of my price range!

Is there anything more affordable?

Macbook 2.2 Mac OS X (10.5.1)

Thanks

Welcome to Mac-Forums, emilygal.

As a uni student you should be able to buy an Edu licence to the software if the software company has it. Why not the company and ask if they have a special pricing for students?

And this is what I found for Dictation at MacUpdate.

Make sure the software you look at is Leopard compatible: compatibility issues in Leopard can get pretty ugly from what I've seen in here so far.
