How to share photos across MAC and Vista?

I am thinking of upgrading my old PC.. into Vista. (I know.. i love MACs, but no $ now to buy a MAC, WINDOWS is a cheaper option).

Thinking of setting it up into a media center for the living room.

My question is, how do i share photos, movies and videos already on my macbook with VISTA? media center?
