Stuck Pixel

I have one red stuck pixel in the middle of my screen that is killing me...I got my iMac in August...will Apple do anything for me?

I tried a thing that turns the pixels on and off for 20 minutes...didn't help.

I don't have Applecare, but I was thinking about buying it.

Red pixels are usually considered "hot" pixels and don't tend to come unstuck.

With most LCD TV's, it takes a certain amount of dead or stuck pixels before the manufacturer will issue an exchange. The best way to find out is call Apple support.
