I'm using my iCal in Monthly view only.
After I enter the event and mark it "all day" with a color, the color turns foggy. When clicking on this event, the color turns normal bright.
It's supposed to be like that ?

For example, the Red color is normally bright. When viewing the monthly view, this event in red looks pale red. Clicking on it, changes it to normal red.
Is it normal ?

"Foggy" is inactive, "Bright" is the selected or active item

hm...that's an interesting idea...never thought it might be 'active' or inactive'

Sounds very logical and smart from Apple geniuses.
I wish only the font in in-active mode changes to black, easier to see.
is that a good idea too ?;D
