Setup disk? old printer....

white Macbook, Ipod nano 1st&3rd gen
Well I am being given a oldish HP printer with no disk. I was wondering if it will work with my mac and what about the disk? if i plug it in will it just work? thanks in advance :D

James it would help if you gave us the printer model . Do a Google search using HP and model number as HP last month updated many printer drivers for X.4 and X.5.
