How long are the intervals usually between point updates?

At least they brought back the Dock Icon options. Now I can do folders/lists vice stacks.

My display on the C2D MB is definitely brighter. My Time Machine has been running since 20:09 and is still going. Guess there's quite a bit to back up (over wireless) after the update.

Reboot is much slower

I just did a restart with my MBP and found it over a minute slower. It used to restart in about 40 seconds. Now, it is 1:45.

So far I haven't gotten any sound when getting mail from gmail, so for those looking for that it appears to not have been updated. Overall haven't seen anything drastic, but I haven't done anything besides browse for a few minutes.

I spoke too soon about my AirPort. I actually think its worse than before. It used to pick up the signal after sitting for a while, now I have to keep disconnecting and connecting manually until it decides it wants to stay connected. Looks like I'll be calling in to see what's up!

the graphics update really did something. My fps in WoW was 40-60 before update. 80-150 after.

Is there a way to go back to 10.5.1?

Can I ask why you would want to roll it back to 10.5.1? There are a lot of important fixes in 10.5.2.

I just installed the update - all good here so far.

The Dock changes are great:
I've now got two folders that open as a fan, one that opens as a list, and two stacks that open as grids.

Yay choice!

I had the 340mb one and also did the graphics. Little over a half our to totally complete.

Good news my AirPort seems to be working much better. Haven't had much time to play with it as I was walking out the door when it finished. Bad news my iChat is still screwy at home. Works flawlessly anywhere else. :(

Pardon my ignorance...But im trying to figure out how you are having 2 stacks that open as grids besides the 2 normal folders that are in the dock?I know you can add folders to the dock but when right clicked onto a fold all i get is open at log in , close, open, etc...explain to my feeble mind this morning please..or someone.
Regards

What about iDVD 08?

Does the 10.5.2 fix the issue surround the Revolutions 07 Theme for iDVD 08?
I haven't tried to burn a movie yet, but that was a major bug with iDVD 08.

This is just a guess but I would think that will be an update for iDVD 08 and not an OS update. Try it out and let us know, but I am sure Apple will deal with the 08 iDVD separately.

Just to let everyone know, the 10.5.2 update installed a new Utility in the Utilities folder! It's called "Remote Install Mac OSX". I clicked on it and it's for the MacBook Air. You insert your install DVD in a Mac and run the utility and it will allow you to install OSX on the Air using your other Mac. Interesting!

Am on my iBook right now typing this and was in the Utilities folder looking around and there it was!
