Hello everyone, I'm glad to be here...
I'm currently using Leopard on my Dual Core notebook... however my wife's Powerbook is a G4 with 10.3... it is good for what she does, wich is simple vector graphic work... now, there's this issue she has with startup with the ubiquitous question mark folder we all dread... after 5-10 restarts it kicks in... so I do a Disk utility from my mac on it, says the drive is pristine.
So Software restore is called for... NOW THE ISSUE, Her mac system CDs have the 10.1 Mac OS... when I upgraded it, was as I purchased different macs... such as a 12" powerbook I had... which I sold over a year ago.
If I do Software restore, DO SOFTWARE UPDATES FROM APPLE UPGRADE the to at least the previous version Mac OS X, or do I get stuck with 10.1?
