hey.

does anyone know how to get the iPod and iPhone icon to show on my macbook pro's desktop.

Only just noticed can be done when my mate plugged in his iPod Nano and it came on desktop.

So just wondering how you do it.

You need to enable disk use on your iPod. There is a checkbox in iTunes on the Summary tab when you sync your iPod to your computer.
I'm not sure about the iPhone... I don't think it can be enabled as a disk?

You're right, neither the iPhone nor the iPod touch can be used as external drives the way regular iPods can, so there's no way to get that icon on the desktop.
