I am part of a focus group to see what the community response is for a hosted desktop solution for OSX, similar to what is available for VMware and other virtualization platforms, called VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure).
These are exiting times for us as we believe that we can provide a SaaS (software as a service) model and a hosted desktop for Mac users.
By leveraging our custom MacBlade infrastructure, we will provide access to numerous industry standard commercial applications, a SAN storage pool in a scalable environment with remote access to all your data via a web browser.
We will also be providing a distributed mesh VPN for collaborative work and data access.
We are looking for alpha testers in the community in order to provide feedback on our solution.
If anyone is interested, please respond via email to "info at substructures dot net", with the subject "Alpha Testing".
