OK, I'm giving Safari another shot here and maybe I'm blind and what I want is sitting there in Preferences.

When I quit, it pops up that little annoying windowsish box that says "You have 4 tabs open, do you want to close this window anyway?"

Well, if I wasn't, I wouldn't have clicked on the close button.

I hate these developers that build in the "save the user from themselves" features with no way to turn them off.
And you'll notice, I was quite a good boy, no swear words.

Indeed you were! :D

Yeah it is in your Safari Prefs, bob. It's under the Tabs tab. Lookee at the screenie...

I dunno if Leopard's Safari has any changes from the Tiger one: shouldn't, since it's the same Safari version, Safari 3.0.4, I believe?

LOL. I find that feature quite useful because I forget I have a tab open I needed.

I bought my Saft licence so I have a bunch of tabs that open each time I launch Safari.

Pretty nifty, it preserves the tabs state even when Safari crashes.

Yep, I'm blind.

I apologize to the Safari developers. O:)

Oh, and thanks, MHC.

Okay, so how about the other Safari 3 warning box?

"You have entered text on “Closing or Quitting Safari - Mac-Forums.com”. If you close the window, your changes will be lost. Do you want to close the window anyway?"

I actually find the "Are you sure you want to close this window?" box. Because with this trackpad it goes to far depending on how I slide my finger. If I want to go back and it goes to far to the red button and I click to fast, then I find it useful.
