cant burn dvds...

i have tried to burn about 2 dvds on my macbook and it goes through the whole burn process and when it is finishing the dvd it gives me an error message and aborts the process.. ive tried using imovie and another program called burn but they dont seem to work. any ideas would will be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

what type of disc are you using. (brand, speed of drive and disc etc.)

also try running the apple hardware check

i am using a memorex dvd+r 4.7 gbs

Try another brand. Memorex is about the worst brand with a high failure rate and unreliable media.

Never had a Verbatim disc fail yet.
