Hi guys,
Learning heaps from these forums so thanks all for contributing. We have a cross platform environment here at work and logins are handled by active directory. We also have an Xserv with an Xraid that hosts our mapped network drives
What I am wondering is, is it possible to have the mac users have their sharepoints automounted at start up and have only the drives that A.D allos them to have, not each department has the same share points andthere are a couple that are shared across to everyone.
Now I have tried usering Automountmaker 1.30 but it will not allow you to use the permissions of A.D
I also tried thisbut it didn't appear to actually do anything, now I'm not 100% savy on the macs and am more of a PC man myself, but I don't mind using a mac as much as I used to
With your explainations i need a step by step walkthrough to help me out.
Thanks all for any responses you might have
