Complete system lockup - wth????

One of my apps (svnX) froze up. Then from that point, I was unable to run ANYthing. Every app just wound up hanging, force quit did nothing whatsoever. I couldn't even reboot, I had to resort to holding the power button on my Mac Pro.

Reminded me of my Windows days. Isn't there SOME kind of way I could've gotten out of that more cleanly??

Sometimes the only way out of a jam is a hard reboot. Doesn't matter what OS you run.
