I just got a new ipod nano 3rd generation, and I use ffmpegx to convert video files. It works fine, but some of my videos get cut off on the sides. Any suggestions of what target format .mp4 would be best to make this not happen?

Thanks!

Well if some videos are getting cut off on the sides, then your problem likely is that you aren't preserving the aspect ratio correctly. If you take a widescreen video that started with a 16:9 ratio and made it a 3:2 ratio, well then yah, you are chopping off the sides.
