Hi All, I'm new here.

I have a white 1.83 CD macbook bought in Sept 2006 and had a recent water spill. I found a replacement 2.0 CD logic board on ebay along with a used magsafe board. The machine now runs off the battery but not the adapter power. The only thing I didn't test yet is the power adapter itself. Is there a sure way to test the output voltage? Thanks.

You might check this pinout diagram. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MagSafe#Pinout You might also check the plug itself (the 2 prongs on the adapter). I had one with a bad prong, I replaced the prongs from one of the iPod chargers and it worked perfectly fine.

Thankyou Ghostshadow. I had previously tried some random pin combinations to test DC voltage and only got mV readings. I suspect the adapter is bad.
