Nice. I had a similar idea. For a true DIY iMac that's much better than the real thing, I would lop the LCD off a MBP and fit it onto the back of a 30" Cinema Display in the same way this person has. Unfortunately, I have neither the funds nor the bravery to attempt such a thing.
