So very disappointed

With this very real problem, and many writing Apple about this problem...doesn't seem more than strange that they won't even comment on the issue? There is no talk of a fix or that there even IS a problem with 7.0. Come on Steve...step to the plate and deliver. Where's 10.5.2?
I'm very disappointed. This is my first mac in 25 years. On the whole, I love my MBP, but this software is buggy. It does lock up, and the spinning beach ball is something I have come to hate.

What software is this giving you issues? You said 7.0.

What is the "very real problem" you talk about? You didn't provide any details.

iDVD 08

Revolution 7.0, the new theme with the new iLife. Countless people have had the same problem with this theme when burning a DVD. It hangs up and crashes. Most have just reverted to the older 06 or 05 themes. I guess we end up being beta testers....even for a product supposedly "ready" for release. I'm not really complaining. The MBP is so sweet, and in so many ways it totally blows my desktop pc out of the water. I'll wait for the enevitable fix.
