Let me first say that i love my ibook. But I have to say that whoever designed the way apple secures the keys to the keyboard should be fired. Ever since I have gotten this thing, I keep having to reconnect keys. Today it was the "tab" key. There has gotta be a better way to secure these keys than that flimsey cheap plastic connector. And where can you get these things?

I have never had this problem, but I suppose it's difficult to make a keyboard where the keys are flat enough to be depressed some way down on such a slim laptop and yet still somewhat sturdy.

Maybe ask apple to ship you a new keyboard (warranty issue?) if you feel your's is particularly defective.

I had a key fall off, L or M I believe, I just took it to the apple store and they did it right there 15 minutes. Good as new
