My mighty mouse cursor keeps jumping all over the screen. I am using it on a wooden table. Is there a specific mouse mat I need? or is it the mouse? It's driving me mad. I'm using a 24" imac and things are so slow for me.
Thanks

Why don't you try using it on a normal mousepad and see if there's any difference? If there isn't, its probably your MM having problems so you should take it back to the store and let the Apple guys have a look :)

Also if your table is shiny that may mess with the mouse's laser.

I've also tried it on a regular mouse mat and it does the same.
Maybe i need to take it back then.
It is so frustrating.
Thanks again

It sounds like you do need to take it back.

I had the same problem. My solution...I bought a Logitech MX Revolution, mainly because laser mice have always tracked better on my desk that optical mice. Not to mention the Mighty Mouse is way too small for my hand
