So Im using photo booth for the first time. I take a few pictures with effects and then all of a sudden, the camera shows me in pitch black. I turn my desk lamp on and Im barely lit up. I have to shut down the program and restart it to get it to work again. This happens several times.

Anyone else get this?

I haven't had any problems with mine so far. You should probably contact Apple about this, sounds like you might have a problem.

Do you have any of the effects enabled?

Yeah. Does that make a difference? Say I would have the roller coaster effect enabled. Then I would take a couple shots. After viewing the shots and going back to photo mode to take more, the camera is very dark. I have to reboot the program so it gets the appropriate lighting in the camera again.
