ipod touch mail problems

hi i got an apple touch not jailbroken, and i recently upgraded it to 1.1.3 and bought the software upgrade, however my mail app dont work, when i open the mail it just closes automaticly after a second.
the other problem is that it wont sync my contacts. it just pop an error the the ipod have been disconnected.
my ipod was jailbroken before but restored all the settings. i have tried to restore it various times..

anybody have any idea?
