I have an iMac and an HDTV (as well as a BluRay player)

I know that I can transmit music from iTunes using Airport Express. Is there a way to to transmit video from my Mac to the TV. I am familiar somewhat with EyeConnect from Elgato, but that requires an additional media player.

Thanks

If the Mac is near your TV, then you should be able to connect a VGA, DVI, or HDMI cable and use it as a secondary monitor, or simply mirror what's on your screen.

But if your Mac is not close to the TV, then you'll probably have to get yourself an AppleTV to transmit video from the Mac to the TV.
