it cant handle Arabic. the letters dont connect when you type in Arabic on MS Word Mac 2008. The thing that surprised me the most is that Arabic works just fine on Powerpoint Mac 2008.
How can i make Arabic work on Word Mac 08?

Don't think the language user face can be changed, you have to set up your Mac accordingly and configure the language. DO a Google on Office 2008 languages.

I thought you needed the Arabic version of office to get proper Arabic support (most likely not for mac)

I had to to a poster with arabic text and found that Word would often reverse the text direction when I copied and pasted.

I think NeoOffice might have better support,

Ya, It doesn't have the letters connected, and they come out all distorted. I still don't understand why Arabic works fine on Powerpoint, but not Word. Arabic works on Pages 08 though . . .
