Ooh yeah, a lens might be an idea too... I'm looking for a decent macro... when I get enough money I'll look around, maybe make a thread asking advice... but not soon...

The government told me they were taking any GST/Tax Return cheques that I get because I can't afford to pay off my student loan, so they're putting it towards that.

I figure 'Hey! Tax returns are meant to stimulate the economy, right? Well, putting it in my savings bank won't do any stimulating! I guess it is my moral obligation to spend it...'

So yeah...I will spend it. Maybe an iPod Touch or something.

I'll only get a return if that "Stimulus package" passes.

Tip: giving the government interest-free money is not a wise move. Adjust your deductions so that you keep as much money as possible in the first place.

I look at this way. When you get a return the government uses your money. When you pay, you are using your money.

more than likey, my dad will keep it and put it towards college/spring break/phone bill/car insurace/apt rent/my HTPC for class/spending money/alochol/food/love, and whatever else I spend money on.

ps. I really am lucky and do not pay for much while I am at school, so whatever my return is, my dad can have to do as he wishes...

It went in the bank. I'm moving at the end of the month so I need a few extra dollars in the bank to cover the new security deposit until I get the old one back.

I think I might get a Time Capsule. I need a back up anyway, plus a better wireless router. The rest just throw in the bank, maybe invest in stocks
