I installed iLife 08 yesterday and everything seemed to go fine.

but I when I go to open my MOVIES folder I keep getting a : "THE VOLUME FOR "MOVIES" CAN NOT BE FOUND"

What happened??

More importantly....

On the left hand of my window where it says DEVICES, PLACES, and SEARCH FOR.... if I click on SEARCH FOR and go to ALL MOVIES....

I was relieved to find all of my movie files in there.

So I was watching some of them... and I noticed as soon as I clicked off... the movie would disappear from the ALL MOVIES FOLDER... and the number tally would decrease.

I finally realized after 10 movies that files were disappearing.

I used FIND to try to locate the lost files but no such luck.

It also appears to be only my WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER FILES that are disappearing.

What happened to my MOVIES folder? and where are these lost files going? Are they being deleted? UGH UGH UGH!

If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate. I'm very frazzled.

Go to Macintosh HD, then find Users, then there's a folder titled with your username. Open it. Find movies, and drag it to the side bar. Then try opening. :)
