What files do I need to remove to downgrade iTunes?

I tried just installing an older version, but someone told me I have to remove certain files that it installs with it. Does anyone know what files I need to remove in order to do this?

Your best bet would have been to get a program like AppZapper or AppDelete, which get rid of all the associated files for you.

If you want to manually get rid of every associated file, I would suggest going into the Library folders (both of them; one is under your account, the other is under Macintosh HD) and then deleting the iTunes folder.
