So I'm sitting in class taking notes on my Blackbook and were talking about Asia and all the technology stuff they have over there, the professor goes "You know when you call tech support? Oh wait never mind you have an Apple" and then he moves on too someone with a Dell and she knew exactly what he was talking about. Haha made me laugh :D

Hopefully it stays that way.

I know Apple's support is domestic, but does anyone know if they still outsource their support? Once when I called tech support with a question, the operator said something like apple hadn't given them that information yet, as if they were separate from Apple Inc. I thought it was odd. If their support is outsourced to another company, and that company goes overseas . . .

I would prefer talking to an Indian guy than an disgruntled, underpaid American any day. And I guarantee they outsource a lot of aspects of their tech support. It is cheaper and more efficient, with a minimal drop in quality.

I love globalization.

PS. That isn't sarcasm either. I really do love globalization.

As do I, but let's not stray from the topic.

It's funny because it's true :D

I am not very happy with globalization, since my job (it was not help desk either) was out sourced to india.
