I left my macbook on sleep for like a week, unplugged, so the battery died. Now, the battery wont charge? ive tried restarting, but the comp just says no batteries available
Are you getting this: icon? How old is your Macbook? There has been reports of some of the batteries coming up dead. I believe apple still replaces them. I read on Mac-rumors last week, some one had their dead battery replaced. I also have a non-charging battery in my Macbook. I'm going to be taking it to the apple store shortly.
it may be a more fundamental problem with the PRAM or the PMU both of which manage power systems on the MB (it's why your battery won't charge if it has 95% charge or more)
I'm not a power specialist but it may be worth looking into ^^
